New Eco-Friendly Diaper Bags?

Okay so I was reading a blog about cool things for moms called Cool Mom Picks, and I stumbled across their post on the new Seventh Generation Eco-Friendly Diaper Bag. This company currently makes chlorine-free, earth-friendly diapers that are disposable. But their new diaper bag is out and it's made with a ton of recycled materials. The kicker? It's $200! I was flabbergasted. Trust me, I love a beautiful, functional, well-made diaper bag as much as the next parent. I've even been known to spend a pretty penny on a diaper bag, but this seems a bit over the top. Am I the crazy one? Or will folks run out to buy it?
Diaper bags are big time gifts for new moms as well as an item that many moms buy for themselves. Don't forget to calculate that dads want a special diaper bag too. This results in most families having way more than one diaper bag. We actually have four that get some form of regular use.
But have you looked at diaper bags recently? There are so many choices! Big ones, small ones, ones that look like they are diaper bags and ones that don't - so many choices. This is definitely a time to be having babies if you're a diaper bag connoisseur. What’s your favorite diaper bag and why?

Thanks for the mention Robin!
From what we’ve seen at Cool Mom Picks, diaper bags are the new bags. They’re so practical and look so nooooot diaper bag-ish these days that people are investing in good ones and keeping them long after the diapers are gone.
I think part of responsible consumerism is buying a well-made product that lasts. But in the end we especially liked the Seventh Generation bag because every penny of profit goes to benefit Healthy Child, Healthy World which is a really wonderful organization.
I think people WILL buy this bag because it’s a status symbol. Designer bags are so in right now that why WOULDN’T you carry around soiled clothes and such in one? (haha, jk) I have read on the forum about women who pay twice this much for a diaper bag. It amazes me…
I would never pay $200 for a diaper bag. And I think it’s a good idea to buy recycled, sustainable things. I chose to go the “reuse” route with our diaper bags. I took a free overnight bag from JCPenney’s and used it as a diaper bag. It was a flashy red. Then, as my daughter needed less stuff, I switched to cotton shopping bags.
I admit, a real diaper bag probably has more features, but the only thing I ever missed was a dedicated bottle pocket. And that wasn’t worth $200!
This is amazing!I have been reading forums consistently. These bags will become very popular in a short period of time!
