Tips for Pregnancy Tests

So, your period is late. Your breasts are sore. You might even be having some nausea. What are the first signs of pregnancy? Are you pregnant? Pregnancy tests are certainly one kind of test you want to prepare for before hand, particularly if you're having pregnancy symptoms. Being ready for test day does involve some preparation and prior knowledge. Here are tips to getting it right the first time.

How many pregnancy tests do you recommend taking before you can feel confident about the result? Some say one should do it, but I’ve also heard of people taking up to three to confirm results.

They are very accurate, and I’m not sure that taking multiple tests is really a sign of being unconfident in the test but maybe more a disbelief I’m pregnant. Does that make sense?

Yes it’s still possible. Most tests advise that you retest after a couple more days. If you still have a negative result talk to your doctor or midwife. You’ll find more answers to your pregnancy tests at:
