Doulas Provide Benefit

I taught a doula training this weekend. It's emotionally and physically draining work, but being able to share my passion for helping laboring women and their families is worth it. Did you know? The Maternity Center Association released it's findings that the use of a doula or professional labor support helps improve satisfaction rates of women in birth as well as reduce some of the common interventions like cesarean surgery and forceps.
